The Hazard Communication Standard (8 CCR§5194) implements the Worker-Right-To-Know Statute. It also incorporates Proposition 65 (http://www.oehha.ca.gov/prop65/law/p65.html), to the extent that employer warning obligations under this statute may be satisfied through hazard communication procedures, and authorizes enforcement of Proposition 65 in workplaces by Cal/OSHA.

- Written program
- Employee training
- Inventory of hazardous substances
- Procurement of Material Safety Data Sheets per hazardous substance
- Labeling of hazardous substances
- Proposition 65 compliance
- Reporting and record keeping
