The Hazard Communication Standard (8 CCR§5194) implements the Worker-Right-To-Know Statute. It also incorporates Proposition 65 (, to the extent that employer warning obligations under this statute may be satisfied through hazard communication procedures, and authorizes enforcement of Proposition 65 in workplaces by Cal/OSHA.

  • Procurement of Material Safety Data Sheets per hazardous substance
  • Labeling of hazardous substances
  • Proposition 65 compliance
  • Reporting and record keeping
