Ms. Jeanne Iverson was the founder of VSI Risk Management & Ergonomics, Inc.
She passed away in 2022, however her passion for Human Factors Ergonomic Engineering still remains in the soul of her company.

The Jeanne Marie Iverson Memorial Scholarship Fund will be available soon.
Beginning in Spring of 2025, students enrolled in the Human Factors/Ergonomics Program at San Jose State University will be able to apply for a $5,000 scholarship! Two students will be selected as recipients of the scholarship for the following school year.

Enhancing Workspaces with Decades of Ergonomic Expertise
Ms. Iverson was a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) from the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE) and had been a practicing ergonomist for over two decades receiving her master’s Degree in Human Factors Ergonomic Engineering and an additional master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Her undergraduate degrees included a BS in Pre-physical therapy where she worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at out-patient and in-patient settings for over 10 years with patient rehabilitation. She also had a subsequent undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, where she specialized in CAL OSHA compliance with regards to mitigation of risk in various work settings specializing in hazardous material substances. She was also a certified EMT Level I and CPR/FA/MERT instructor.
Ms. Iverson honed her skills with the field of Ergonomics as a Root Cause Analysis expert. She specialized in manufacturing and material handling work environments in addition to laboratory and office settings.
She was also the project leader for numerous Usability studies that involved development and assessment of well-known peripheral products from companies such as Logitech, Goldtouch, Microsoft, Kinesis, DXT, Posturite, Contour, and 3-M.

- DXT Vertical Mouse
- 3-D Connexions Space ball used by CAD designers
- Goldtouch keyboard and Go! Board for mobile users
- Logitech Wave 350 keyboard
- Microsoft keyboards
Ms. Iverson was also a frequent seminar speaker for professional companies where she presented on a plethora of ergonomic topics. Throughout her tenure as the CEO of VSI Risk Management & Ergonomics, she as always intricately involved with site specific ergonomic training development programs.
